DaCapo

I’m an 80’s child mostly, having grown up with oldies like Ms PacMan, Ladybug, Time Pilot, and Mouse Trap. I like to review classic games from Atari 2600, Coleco, and the arcade machines, as well as some of the later console systems like Nintendo and Sega. These early systems emphasized quality over quantity, and to this day I rarely can ever get into the newer 3D games except for some of the racing games like Initial D, Wangan Midnight, Mario Kart GP, or Dance Dance Revolution. Too many of today’s games are simply rehashes of older games, and quality is being sacrificed for fan-service and shiny graphics. The best games are the ones that take full advantage of the space and memory allotted to deliver the proper balance in graphics, sound, and gameplay.

I also do some illustration and design, and hope to possibly help in designing this website.
